BTEC National in Applied Science Extended Certificate (AAQ)

If the answer to any of these questions is ‘yes!’ then Applied Science AAQ is the subject for you!
AAQs are new qualifications that equate to one A Level choice.
Entry Requirements
Grade 4 or above in GCSE English Language, Grade 5 Maths plus at least grades 44 in GCSE, Combined Science or a Merit in BTEC Level 2 Science

Largely coursework, (including practical work) that is often carried out under controlled conditions in class. Some of this is internally assessed by your teachers and some is externally moderated by the exam board. At present there are no compulsory examined units.
