Sew like a Pro: Dressmaking – Taster Class

This is the perfect taster sewing class if you are a complete beginner wishing to gain confidence with using a sewing machine. The class will cover threading, bobbin filling, correct thread tension, with tips on troubleshooting and how avoid common user errors. Following this you’ll put your newfound sewing skills into practice by creating a simple mini tote bag.

For this taster class all the essential equipment and materials will be provided, including access to our variety of fabric remnants. You are also welcome to bring along your own material (1/2 a metre will suffice).
