Earlier this term, we were treated to a magnificent performance of Twelfth Night, performed by our incredibly talented second-year students at the Old Court Theatre in Windsor. The production brought Shakespeare’s beloved comedy to life with stunning attention to detail, creativity, and passion.
Our students showcased their immense acting skills, bringing vibrant energy and depth to the classic play, which is renowned for its witty dialogue, mistaken identities, and themes of love and mischief. The performance captivated the audience from start to finish, with each student playing their role to perfection.
A standout feature of the production was the exceptional hair and make-up design, crafted by the students from our Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Hair and Make-up Effects for Film and Theatre. The make-up team’s creativity and skill helped transport the actors into their characters, whether it was through period-appropriate hairstyles, striking character make-ups, or intricate special effects. The results were nothing short of breathtaking, adding an extra layer of authenticity and flair to the overall performance.
The Twelfth Night production is an excellent example of the impressive talent and collaboration that thrives within our performing arts and production arts courses at Windsor College. We are immensely proud of the dedication and hard work displayed by all of our students in bringing this production to life.
A special thanks to @charliesilverlens for capturing the magic of the performance with his stunning photography!
We’re excited to continue supporting our students as they grow and refine their craft in the arts. Stay tuned for more exciting performances and projects in the future!
